The firm was founded by its main partner, Oscar J. Montaldo, CPA, in 1957, and relies on a team of prime quality professional staff to attend to the highly specialized advisory, consultancy and audit needs of firms and institutions of all sizes, either for clients within our country or for foreign clients that lean on Uruguayan legal structures.

To attend to international clients, we have our own offices in Buenos Aires (Argentina) and in Sao Paulo (Brazil).

With almost 50 years in the local and international market, our institution has vast experience in advising firms of different types, such as, off-shore banking, insurance, building, publishing, agriculture and livestock, veterinary products, port services, exchange bureaus, factoring, information technology, international cargo transportation, exporting concerns, communications, etc.

Since 1990 we have been members of RSM International, the world’s sixth largest network of independent international accounting and consulting firms of acknowledged prestige. For that purpose, it has defined quality standards to provide services, and strictly controls their application.
